Home Visiting Enhancement

New Moms partners with pregnant and parenting young women living in Chicagoland using the acclaimed Home Visiting model, Parents as Teachers. Together with their coaches, moms construct the foundations for long-term wellness that benefit their family and community.

We enhance our Home Visiting services by applying an Executive Skills Coaching approach that puts moms in the driver’s seat with the skills, tools, and strengths to progress toward their goals.

Pilot Programs

New Moms is engaged in two promising pilot programs that are building the body of evidence for enhancements to Home Visiting models: a program serving justice-involved young mothers in partnership with the Cook County Sheriff’s office and Start Early, and the Home Visiting for Homeless Families Demonstration Project in partnership with Start Early.
