As president of OAK Design & Construction, Dave is committed to providing the local community with the best remodeling experience and services. His years of working in vintage homes married with his love of learning new techniques enables him to find solutions where others can’t.
AIA Award-winning architect Lisa Neidhardt is the co-founder and principal of NHA, a design practice focused on delivering unique client solutions through creative conceptualization, space and material exploration, and a rigorous attention to detail.
Highly personable in her collaborative processes, her work reflects a rich meaning only achieved by developing strong connections and a deep understanding of her clients’ ideas and goals.
Lisa’s professional career spans 15 years and has a diverse range of project experiences including- historic renovations, single-family residences, boutique and commercial retail, hospitality, and corporate interiors.
She graduated from the University of Kentucky with honors and remains an active alumnus. In addition to her studying under Maria Dellerba Ricci in Venice, Italy, she received multiple design awards throughout her educational career, including The Deans Prize.
Actively involved in her community, she is a co-founder of the Snow City Arts Auxiliary Board in Chicago and is involved in any number of activities supporting her sons Arlo and Ray. She loves to travel with her husband Brian Hungerford and has a passion for playing piano.
Spanning her career of over 40 years in the Kitchen & Bath Industry, Cheryl Daugvila’s design practice has quite an extensive portfolio of cabinet & design experiences. Her focus is on ergonomically functioning kitchens designed for healthier lifestyles and wellness trends. Project managing her designs involve multitudes of unique styles to fit her clients personalities.
She is partnered with her husband, Marius Daugvila, (known as Mr. D), who is a custom cabinet & furniture craftsman. They have also created a service company for repairing and reclaiming existing cabinets and remodeling items. They both received degrees in Industrial Design from UICC where they met in 1980. Together, cabinetry and furniture design became their focus together for over 35 years.
Cheryl’s award winning designs involve over 2000 complete remodels of residential and commercial kitchens throughout Chicago and the Great Lakes region, Florida, Grand Cayman, Wyoming, Argentina, and wherever her clients desire her services. Her design studio is located in the heart of LaGrange, Il where she is celebrating her 25th anniversary being part of their business district this year.
