The Hub @ New Moms offers evidence-based training for programs wishing to embed an Executive Skills Coaching mindset and practice in its work with families. (Click here to watch a video about our Executive Skills approach!)

Each training is facilitated by New Moms’ Learning and Innovation leadership staff and incorporates diverse learning methods into each workshop whether in-person or virtual including active discussions, individual and group self-assessments, reflective break-out groups, role plays, case scenarios, short audio segments, and interactive technologies such as live polling. 

Executive Skills Coaching training packages are developed to meet your program exactly where it is on the road to embedding an Executive Skills Coaching mindset and practice. The base of every package aims to increase Executive Skills knowledge and the knowledge of the SMART goal framework. Click on the options below to learn more about what we offer.

Trainings & Resources

The best way to learn about Executive Skills is to practice! Join us for one of our live, regularly scheduled Executive Skills 101 virtual workshops. Knowing our own Executive Skills is the backbone of Executive Skills coaching within programs. 

During this 2-hour, engaging and active session, you will join a group of learners to:

    • Identify your own Executive Skills profile – which skills are stronger and which you want to strengthen.
    • Learn about Executive Skills – what they are, how they develop and why they matter for you and for those in your programs.
    • Understand how Executive Skills help or hinder your progression to your goals and what you can do to set good-fit, Executive Skills-informed goals.

Are you considering piloting Executive Skills coaching in your programming? This package provides not only an introduction to Executive Skills and setting good-fit SMART Goals and Milestones but also an in-depth focus on the important role incentives play in nudging goal progression. Facilitated workshops are not the only way that you will learn in this Package! You have access to 3 Reflective Supervision sessions to prepare program supervisors with the tools needed to hold reflective supervision sessions with staff.

Developed in conjunction with our Executive Skills Implementation Case Study, the Practitioner Implementation toolkit walks you through the steps towards learning about, designing, and piloting Executive Skills Coaching strategies in your organization.
