Jenna came to Chicago from Ontario, Canada in 2003 and has spent her years in this city working in communities to help people see their inherent value and become empowered to write a story for their lives that is full of life and possibility. She joined New Moms in 2015. Previously, Jenna worked in Advancement and International Outreach at Elim Christian Services, seeking to develop more inclusive communities for people with development disabilities. Jenna draws upon her social work training and love for community to shape all of New Moms’ communication and fundraising efforts. Jenna earned a B.A. in Social Work at Trinity Christian College in 2007 and a M.A. in Social Work from UIC Jane Addams College of Social Work in 2012.
