Our work would not be possible without the help of our incredibly dedicated volunteers.

Our volunteers are a part of the New Moms family—each one has a special role in our community, bolstering our staff by completing a variety of tasks and helping when it’s needed most.

You can help make a difference. Join us in furthering our mission of expressing God’s love by surrounding young moms with all they need to transform their lives!  We have regular opportunities, recurring projects, and offsite projects that you can participate in at one of our 3 locations (Oak Park, Austin neighborhood, or Garfield Park neighborhood).

  • Individuals: If you are interested in volunteering as an individual, you must first attend Volunteer Orientation.  After attending Volunteer Orientation, and passing the screening process (which includes two background checks), you are welcome to request one of our volunteer opportunities listed below. If you’d like to get more information, please email volunteer@newmoms.org or call Frida De Santiago at 773.252.3253 x135.
  • Groups: If you’re interested in a group volunteer opportunity, please complete this form, and our volunteer coordinator will reach out to you.
