New Moms’ Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to us, and we take every precaution to ensure that your personal information remains secure. The information below provides you with an overview of our privacy policy, designed for your protection.

Personal Information Security 

  • Providing any personal information on our website is solely your choice.
  • This information is only accessible to certain qualified employees of New Moms, and will not be shared with anyone else. We will never sell, rent, or distribute your personal information to third parties. We ask for personal information on our online donation pages to help prevent fraudulent donations and to enable us to acknowledge receipt of your donation for tax purposes.
  • We only ask for personal information on our intake form to better serve and contact future New Moms participants. We do not place you on any distribution lists without consent.
  • If you give a gift through our website, your name and address will be placed on our mailing list for occasional mail updates and you may be acknowledged by name in our Annual Report. If you do not wish to receive physical mail from New Moms, you may opt out at any time by e-mailing contact@newmoms.org with subject line “Remove.”
  • If you wish to remain anonymous, please indicate this by including a note to this effect in the message area on the donation form.

Credit Card Security

  • When you donate to New Moms online, you are automatically redirected to a secure website to make your donation. This site uses SSL data encryption technology to ensure that your information is secure.
  • Your credit card number is used only for that particular transaction and is not stored by New Moms.

SMS (Text Message) Privacy Policy

This SMS Privacy Policy explains how we use, store, and protect your mobile number and text message communications.
How We Use SMS
By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS messages from New Moms/Bright Endeavors related to:
  • General (not private or confidential) communication between you and a member of our staff
  • Appointment confirmations, updates, or reminders
  • Invites and information about events, programs, or services
How We Store SMS
  • SMS messages are generally stored on a phone’s messaging app or database, but these stored messages can only be read by the person who has access to the device.
How We Protect SMS
  • Your mobile number and any information shared via SMS will remain confidential and will only be used for the purposes listed above. We do not sell, rent, or share your contact information with third parties.
  • SMS is not a secure form of communication for senders or receivers, so our staff will not send nor request personal identifiers, passwords, financial data, or health information via SMS.
  • We ask that you never send confidential information via SMS. Personal and confidential information should only be shared through secure links or encrypted apps.
  • Our staff will use password protected apps, and auto-locking settings to protect your messages.
  • We will not use your number for third party marketing or promotional purposes without your expressed consent.
Opting Out
