A Day on the Green, A Future Full of Possibility

On September 10, more than 180 golfers gathered at Harborside International Golf Center for the New Moms Golf Classic, bringing together friends, supporters, and community members for an unforgettable day on the green.

But this event was about much more than golf. Every swing, putt, and celebration helped create brighter futures for young moms and their families through workforce development, housing stability, and economic mobility.

The day kicked off with a bang right from the shotgun start, setting the stage for a day filled with friendly competition and connection. Golfers also had the chance to participate in a clinic with New Moms CEO Laura Zumdahl before heading back out on the course.

More Than $171,000 Raised for Young Families

Thanks to the generosity of our golfers, sponsors, donors, and community partners, the 2026 New Moms Golf Classic raised $171,00, making it our most successful Golf Classic to date.

These funds help New Moms partner with young moms as they build the skills, stability, and support they need to create a stronger future for themselves and their children.

At New Moms, we believe every young family has the strength, skills, and potential to thrive. Support from events like the Golf Classic helps make that possibility real.

Celebrating Every Kind of Champion

The day ended with dinner, a raffle, and plenty of well-earned recognition. Congratulations to all of our winners, including the first-place foursomes on the Port and Starboard courses, as well as the winners of the Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Putting Contest competitions.

And while there could only be one winner in each category, everyone who participated played an important role in strengthening families across our community.
