Christine A. Donovan is a Senior Vice President at The Northern Trust Company. She oversees the national strategy and implementation of the Northern Trust Charitable Giving Program, a Donor Advised Fund.

She has over twenty-five years of specific expertise in the governance and infrastructure of charitable organizations, and investment experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. Throughout her career, Christine has consulted directly with boards and professional staff of nonprofit organizations to implement consulting, asset management, custody, and planned giving services that align with their mission and values. Christine majored in flute performance at Western Illinois University, and is an active volunteer at both the local and national levels. She has served on the boards of the American Alliance of Museums, Arts Alliance Illinois, and the Old Town School of Folk Music.
