In Need of Housing?
New Moms does not take direct applications for our housing programs and does not maintain a site-based waitlist. We work with external partners to fill our units. Please follow the directions below to find housing support:
1. Complete a housing assessment with “Coordinated Entry” if you are not in a shelter or connected to agency who provides supports like a drop-in center (15-30 mins). If you are, skip Step 1. Call the Coordinated Entry Call Center at 312-361-1707 to complete a housing assessment.
2. Apply to CHA’s Project Based Housing Voucher or “PBV” (30 mins). Open your online application at www.applyonline.thecha.org. IMPORTANT: For a CHA PBV, you must select that you are a 2 PERSON HOUSEHOLD in order to see and select NEW MOMS
3. After completing step 2, contact New Moms by email (5 mins).
