Our model is designed to support life transformation. Young mothers and their children can find safe and stable housing, a path to employment, and the tools they need to learn and develop strong parenting skills. This unique, wrap-around approach results in deep and lasting change and interrupts the cycle of poverty for two generations.
Homes: Our Transformation Center provides a 2-year transitional housing program for homeless adolescent mothers ages 18-24 and their children. The Transformation Center boasts 40 apartment units that can house up to 40 moms and up to 50 children at a time
Jobs: Our comprehensive, 16-week job training program targets young moms ages 16-24. Through a blend of classroom and on-the-job training at our social enterprise candle company, Bright Endeavors, the participants of our program have the opportunity to develop and strengthen their professional skills and prepare to succeed in the workforce.
Strong Families: Our Family Support programs offer a wide range of services that utilize the Parents as Teachers model, which ensures that moms become their children’s first, best teachers. Our services include doula, prenatal education, home visiting, and parenting education.
