Why I Joined…
“I joined New Mom’s Board of Directors in 2018. Once I heard about the great work New Moms was doing I knew I wanted to be more involved. I was a mother of a toddler when I joined the board. I had resources, a supportive husband and family, yet being a new mom was hard. I could only imagine how difficult it must be being a new mom wanting the best for your child, but limited access to the resources and support you need to be successful. New Moms provides love, support and the resources moms need to be successful. We celebrate these new moms and help them find the power they already possess to make change in their life and their family’s.”
Fun Fact…
Latoya always wanted to be a doctor when she was a little girl.
“I have always wanted to help and take care of people. I don’t know exactly why, but I gravitated towards being a doctor. I enjoyed “fixing” people and making them better.”
